Buchannan Cellers Makes National Registry
Gerald and Margaret Legard are planning to restore McMinnville’s Buchanan Cellers building — focal point of the city’s Granary District and in turn of its Northeast Gateway renewal project — to the look it had in 1949.
Constructed in 1888 as the Barnekoff and Allyn Flouring Mill, it has won a place on the National Register of Historic Places. It joins McMinnville’s Historic Downtown District and Linfield’s Pioneer Hall.
