2010 McMinnville Farmers' Market - celebrating our 10th anniversary!
Each year the McMinnville Farmers' Market selects new artwork to be used for the Market poster and t-shirt, as well as a variety of other promotional items, such as postcards, note cards and printed advertising.
For the 2010 Farmers' Market, our 10th Anniversary, we will hold a CONTEST to solicit artwork and the winner will receive a cash prize of $300.
CONTEST RULES
1. Open only to Yamhill County residents
2. Deadline for submission: 5:00pm, Friday, March 5, 2010
3. Artwork will be juried with the winner announced Friday, March 19, 2010
4. The selected original art becomes the sole property of the McMinnville Dowtown Association (MDA to use as noted above and as indicated in the MDA/Farmers' Market Artist Contract/Copyright Release Agreement
ARTWORK GUIDELINES
1. Work submited must be original, 2-dimensional artwork
2. Art should reflect the spirit of the McMinnville Farmers' Market
3. Size: 11" x 14"
4. Format: vertical (portrait)
5. Submitted art should NOT include text
6. No more than three (3) entries per artist
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Preference is for digital images of art work; however, we will accept original artwork delivered to our office at 105 NE Third Street, McMinnville OR.
If submitting original art work and you would like your art returned after the jury process, you will need to make arrangements for pick up or provide a self-addresses, prepaid return envelope or packaging. The McMinnville Downtown Association will not be responsible for art remaining after April 15, 2010.
The McMinnville Downtown Association will take all reasonable precaustions to protect and safeguard all submitted art, however, the MDA, its officers, directors and employees are not liable or responsible for damage to any original art submitted for this contest while in its possession.
