McMinnville Downtown Wineries

Mar 11, 2014

Start Here, Stay Here.

The McMinnville Downtown Wineries is a group of wineries that have chosen to bring their wine to the center of town. Some of these have wineries have vineyards outside of town while some purchase all their grapes.

Downtown wineries are here for your convenience. These wineries have a wide range of varietals represented from local Pinot Noirs, to big bold reds, to Italian varietals. White wines are also common, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and even a bit of bubbly.

Most tasting rooms have a tasting fee for a “flight” of wines that will let you sample what they have to offer. If you think you’re a person who knows what they want, you may opt to purchase wine by the glass or even by the bottle to split with others. Local tasting room staff are knowledgeable about the area and can offer advice on where to go next. Leave your stuffiness at the door. This is Oregon. We have real wine and we are real people.

To really get to know your wine, join a wine club or two. This usually entails a few shipments a year that can be delivered or picked up, often at fun, festive wine pick-up parties.

Stay tuned to your downtown wineries and keep up to date with events and specials. Don’t forget to like our facebook page.

The McMinnville Downtown Association works to promote and enhance our historic downtown as the economic, social and cultural heart of the community.
